HabiStat Spider Bedding – Substrate for spiders

HabiStat Spider Bedding is a substrate specially formulated for spiders, scorpions, centipedes, and other burrowing species from humid environments. Made from 100% natural ingredients, it provides excellent water retention and gradual moisture release, creating optimal conditions in the terrarium. The carefully selected particles allow the substrate to “breathe,” facilitating burrowing and enabling stable burrow formation.

This substrate perfectly matches the natural needs of these species, allowing them to use it as they would in the wild. It’s easy to shape, which makes building burrows, tunnels, and caves simple without the risk of collapse while maintaining proper humidity. This substrate is also highly absorbent, non-toxic, and non-irritating. Selected particles retain moisture after spraying, which helps maintain ideal humidity levels and encourages burrowing and tunnel formation.

HabiStat substrates are packed in biodegradable and recyclable paper bags.

Available in 5 l and 10 l packaging.

Directions for Use:

Spread the substrate evenly across the terrarium floor, ensuring a depth of 2.5 to 5 cm, or 5 to 7.5 cm for burrowing species. If using under-tank heating, avoid too thick a layer of substrate. Regularly remove any waste and replace the substrate as needed.
