Arcadia Reptile Jungle Dawn LED Bar

Arcadia Reptile Jungle Dawn LED Bar is an elegant and powerful LED terrarium lamp. Thanks to its high efficiency it will work perfectly in tropical terrariums with live plants. You can also use it in desert and savannah terrariums as an additional source of visible light.

Jungle Dawn uses Full-Spectrum High Output LEDs, allowing it to emit up to 141 lumens per watt! By aligning the LEDs in three rows, it provides a very wide, even and efficient light output with excellent performance.

By using a combination of full-spectrum LEDs with high power, the lamp emits a very efficient light beam with a very high PAR level. It brilliantly reproduces natural sunlight (6200 K) without the use of red or blue LEDs that reduce PAR and generate an unpleasant violet tint from the light. Consequently, the Jungle Dawn luminaire has a high PAR, a high PUR percentage and a high CRI.

PAR (photosynthetic active radiation):

This is a measure used to quantify and describe the amount of energy produced by a light source. PAR levels are increased by two lighting factors and these are;
1. the amount of light (Lumen/lux)
2. spectral accuracy

If a lamp produces light in a spectrum similar to natural sunlight and has a high output (luminous flux), it will have a high PAR level.

The Jungle Dawn LED Bar, despite its compact design, produces a very high amount of light. Plants need access to the right amount of energy in the right light spectrum to grow properly. Cells that are damaged or that die naturally are replaced by new ones every day.
A light deficiency reduces the ability to build new cells through the process of photosynthesis, making the plant develop much slower. Plants that lack solar energy tend to have discoloured leaves and exhibit a tendency to elongate unnaturally as they rapidly grow upwards to be closer to the light source.

Arcadia Reptile LED lights can be easily linked together to chain up to 10 units. They can also be combined together with Arcadia Reptile Pro T5 UV-B systems, reducing the number of sockets needed for illuminating your terrariums. The Jungle Dawn LED Bar can be used with all standard sized terrariums with a mesh ceiling. The lamp can either be placed directly on the terrarium or mounted inside, under the roof.

Each lamp is supplied with a power cord with integrated switch, a mounting kit to allow the bar to be mounted inside the vivarium and a connecting cable to link up to another lamp.
